Being a frequent traveler to Bangkok, I would say that Hansar Hotel Bangkok is by far my favourite hotel in Bangkok! I went there recently in September '17 and I really love everything about it, from the bedroom to its service to their breakfast and even their bedroom slipper! It's the most comfortable pair of bedroom slipper I've even worn!

J and I booked their Urban Suite during our 4-nights stay. As the main agenda for this trip is to pray to Phra Phrom at the famous Erawan Shrine Temple, we decided to choose this hotel which is located approximately 5 minutes away from this hotel. Ratchadamri BTS Skytrain Station is just a stone's throw away too! I'm so glad this place did not disappoint us.

We reached our hotel late at night and here are the photographs that I took!

J and I spent most of our time here, watching our drama series and eating supper every night! I really like the idea that the desk is just behind the sofa. In most hotels, I usually have a hard time eating my supper (especially cup noodles) because the desk/coffee table is not in line with the television. Over here, I could eat and watch my drama at the same time! Plus points for this!

This bed is too huge for the both of us! Haha. Nonetheless, it's really comfortable!

My favourite part of the hotel room was the huge bathroom!

I really love the washroom because of its spaciousness! Having double sinks and lots of space to arrange my facial products and make up are plus points! Being an OCD, the first few things I do whenever I get into the hotel is to lay out all my facial products nicely and in order, hang up my clothing and lay my shoes nicely at the entrance before I start to rest officially. Haha. I really cannot stand messy rooms/places!

These are all complimentary! (:

Complimentary fruits too!

There's one part of the hotel that I've yet to reveal! Once we entered the room, we were greeted by a unique interior garden filled with tropical greenery. It was one of the reasons why we chose the Urban Suite too. Quite cool to have a mini garden in our room huh.

Let's move on to their awesome breakfast!

The food, dessert and drinks shown above are displayed on the tables (buffet style) daily and that is not all! There is a breakfast menu placed on every table too! There are many varieties of food to choose from, such as Egg Benedict, pancakes, Phad Thai and porridge. Check out the photographs below for some of the food we ordered over the days.

Freshly baked waffles with mixed fruits.

Scrambled eggs with sausage.

Phad Thai.

Breakfast Burger.

Pancakes with maple syrup.

Eggs Benedict.

Khao Tom, Thai Rice Soup (porridge)
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE DISH!
I ended up ordering this every morning!

Here's the menu.

The portion of food served for each dish we ordered was just right. Not too much, but not too little either. This allowed us to try different food every morning without feeling too full! I recommend you to wake up earlier for breakfast because you'll probably end up overeating as their food look so tempting!

Besides the spacious and well-designed rooms and scrumptious breakfast, their service was top-notch! The staff greeted us with a smile daily and were friendly and polite. They could communicate well in English too. We would like to commend Golf for his excellent service! When we told him that we were interested in making a day trip to Ayutthaya, he was patient in explaining the various ways of traveling there and advised us on the best route - time efficient & money friendly. Upon making our decision, he arranged the trip for us. After the trip, he asked us how our trip went and for the next few days, he asked us how our day was, where we went, etc. His hospitality made our stay a better one! :) I found it heartwarming that he initiated the conversations and showed genuine care and concern - something we don't always receive at hotels.

By the way, if you are interested in making day trips to places like Ayutthaya, Lop Buri, Pattaya and even Kanchanaburi, the staff at the hotel can help you to book those trips and you don't have to worry about being overcharged. The prices they offer are reasonable!

If you are interested in finding out about the other facilities such as the gym and swimming pool, you can check out their link which I've placed above.

I would highly recommend everyone to give this hotel a try!

Thank you Hansar Bangkok Hotel for the amazing experience.

Love,
CY
